Ooh la lashwagandha!

If you want to live with well being, feeling balanced, experiencing less anxiety, being able to deal with stress easier and sleeping better then you should be taking this plant. I recommend it to all my clients and students, it's a miracle worker!!!!

In India and Nepal they've used it for over 5,000 years for a variety of ailments but in the Western world it is marketed most often as a stress reducer and hormone balancer. Ashwagandha works because it has adaptogens which help the body cope with external stresses such as toxins and pollution and internal stresses like worry, anxiety and insomnia. Among its many other functions, it stabilises blood sugar, improves cognitive functions and increases libido in men and women...bonus;)

It has made a significant difference in my life, I've been taking it for 4 years on and off and on and believe it contributes to my sense of balance and feeling grounded.

I currently use Viridian Organic Ashwagandha extract (link below), you can buy it on amazon or at your health/vitamin store. Ashwagandha is easy to get in Nepal so I will be bringing a load of it back home with me I suspect;) Wherever you get yours, make sure it's ORGANIC and VEGAN (capsules often are made of gelatin so double check they are not!)
